Decrease redness of a pimple: Ice reduces inflammation and can also ease the pain that comes with that uglier acne. Put the ice in a ziplock bag (a towel can hurt more delicate skin), hold for 10 minutes and you’re done! Ah! If you have any region of the face with redness, regardless of the pimple, the ice works to soften too!
Lighten dark circles: Take advantage of this soothing effect of ice to lessen the swelling that often appears in the morning, or after working hours at your computer! Wrap the ice in a towel and leave over the eye area while resting.
